Jamberry + Elbow Patches
There isn't much that I love more than a good elbow patch. But an elbow patch on a sweatshirt? Well, that makes it a sweatshirt that I can wear to work. At least in my mind. The shirt I'm wearing underneath is a $15 Forever 21 shirt I bought in a size medium while pregnant so I could fit it over my bump. I figured I'd probably end up getting rid of it after baby came. But it's somehow become one of my favorite shirts. I'm not sure if it's the oversize fit or because it's perfect for layering, but I love it. Do you have those shirts?
If you notice in the first photo, my nails are all kinds of fancy. Danielle asked me if I'd be interested in trying out Jamberry and I was all in. I'm sure you've heard of Jamberry by now- it's probably all over your Facebook newsfeed. The nail wraps are reported to be non-toxic and to last up to three weeks. The wraps come in several different styles (you can see the others I have still have to try out below) and are supposed to be very simple to apply. So, here's my take: I love the styles that they come in. Danielle sent me a sample card that works for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures for about half the price of salon prices. After following the directions, they are very easy to apply, it only took me a couple minutes per nail. I did have some bubbling around the edges, but I'm not sure if that was user error or not (I'll let you know after I do the next ones). So I think if you're looking for an easy way to have nail art without too much effort, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try. Click here to get some more information and to order.
