I have an obsession with watches.  No, seriously, an obsession.  I currently have about 12 in my collection and that's only because I got rid of a handful when we moved.  The majority of them need new batteries but I can't stop wearing them, so hopefully no one asks me for the time.  My favorites are chunky watches in all different colors and materials.  One material I didn't have in my possession?  A wooden watch.  So when Jord asked me if I wanted to give one of their watches a try, I jumped at the opportunity.

Let's talk about my first impression.  It was love at first sight.  I opened up the box to see this beautiful dark brown wood watch with a black face.  And then I picked it up and loved it even more- it's light!  I love watches but if they're too heavy, it makes it hard to type and that's basically what I do all day.  So far, so good.  So then I put it on and realized just how much it matched with everything.  It matches my more casual looks (like this one), and it's just as perfect for my professional work looks.  So basically, you can say that I'm overly excited to add this to my collection.  Oh, and B is totally jealous- he also has a watch obsession.  They have a great line of men's watches, so I might just have to get him one as a "just because" gift.

I do want to note that the watch was pretty big on me- though I have very tiny wrists and watches rarely fit me off the bat.  I had to take out a few links, so if your wrists are on the smaller side, you may have to do the same.
