Over the last couple months, if you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a difference in my posts. And maybe you like it, maybe you don't. But let me tell you, I love it. The difference is this- I'm posting about my real life, and with that, the majority of the pictures are of Henry. Yes, I'm spamming my feed with photos of my child, and I don't feel bad about it. In fact, I feel really damn good. I used to post about things that were popular or trendy, in the hopes of getting more followers. Because that's what's important, right? The numbers? Wrong. Or at least, wrong for me. I wasn't happy with my feed, I racked my brain every day trying to think of what to post and how to style it, and it just wasn't fun. So I gave up and started posting my favorite photos. And those favorite photos are the ones I'm proud of. They are ACTUAL little bits of my life, not just stylized photos. And you know what's funny? My numbers have actually grown A LOT since doing things my way. Maybe it's because now my heart is behind my photos, and you guys can see that.
I wanted to share some of my favorites here. Feel free to follow me (@sarahmhartley), or don't. That's okay too. Because I'll still be there posting. And this time I'll actually be happy about it.
