Vacation, Part One
Oh, hi. I'm back from paradise and ready to show you one billion pictures of my time at the beach. Are you ready? Let's do this.
We spent our vacation at Bald Head Island, NC this year. B and I had been there a couple of years before and were really looking forward to the laid back vibe of the island again. It is the perfect place for Henry's first vacation. Look at my boys! Henry's first trip into the ocean. Needless to say, he wasn't too pleased. But he did warm up by the end of the week. One of the days we spent some time in the pool, so Master Henry got to enjoy time in his teeny boat. All of the roads are completely tree covered and it makes it feel so magical. Henry's new favorite thing? Golf carts! Because there aren't cars on the island, with the exception of emergency and utility workers, everyone drives golf carts. Which just makes the island even more fun. We were there with my sister and her family. I couldn't ask for better people to vacation with. He was (mostly) content being in the ocean if I was right there holding him. "Old Baldy". The Bald Head lighthouse. We had one day of rain so we spent that day taking Henry around exploring the island.
If you're thinking that this wasn't nearly enough photos, don't worry, I have a ton more for you on Thursday. And if you can't wait that long, check out my Instagram feed for a bunch of photos from our week (and yes, different photos than the ones here... I took A LOT of photos.)
