My Beauty Routine

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]'m not a beauty blogger.  I don't know the newest products or the tricks to contouring.  But I do know problem skin.  I've had it forever and at the age of 32, it's still not a whole lot better.  I still suffer from acne and because of the acne, acne scarring.  I have both oily and dry skin, and since having Henry, my skin is a bit dull.  For a couple of years now I've been on the hunt for products that would make my skin look and feel good.  And finally, I found it.  Again, I'm not a beauty blogger, but I'm always interested in seeing a bit into what products people use and how they use them.

I've also always been confused about the order to put your products on.  I've heard to put them on lightest to heaviest so that products have a chance to sink in, but still, it didn't make sense to me.  And then I read to put on the product that you most want to work and go from there.  Whether or not that's actually "right", it's been working for me.  My skin is finally looking and feeling better.  So I thought I'd share what's been working for me, in case you happen to be in the same boat that I had found myself.

Morning Routine I wash my face with Damn Good Face Wash in The Works (seriously, SO good) I apply Murad's Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum (for my scarring) I apply Damn Good Face Oil in Problem Child (I've never been a fan of oils until I found this one) Then I apply makeup

Nighttime Routine I again wash with Damn Good Face Wash in The Works I use Damn Good Toner in The Works I again apply Murad's Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum I use Murad's Age Balancing Night Cream

A couple of time's a week I also use Murad's Intensive C Radiance Peel to help my skin look bright and glowing.

I'm so happy with the way that my skin looks, and I highly recommend these products.  I actually look forward to washing my face in the morning and at night.  I'm not being paid to talk about any of them- I just truly love them.  Now that I've been taking care of my skin, next up is my hair.  In general, my hair is in good condition but I know I could do better for it.  So tell me, what are your favorite hair products for deep conditioning and masks?  For reference I have VERY thick, wavy hair.  Let me know!
